We only worked with Kelly and Will for a short time, but that’s because they expertly guided us through submitting a winning offer on our dream home within the very first month of having them as our realtors. There are a lot of realtors out there, but here is how the Aufhammers are different: They are calm and confident. No frantic, high pressure realtor sales pitches. They’re realistic and will keep your expectations in check but without being discouraging. They have strategies so you don’t end up paying a penny more than you have to. They’re there for you. When we needed a last minute sewer inspection, Kelly found someone and was at the property to meet them at 8am. And when it came time to make an offer, she was in constant communication with the seller’s realtor and us. We were never left in the dark and that really kept us sane. Also, they’re genuinely nice people! They bought a house around the same time we did and offered us all their moving boxes. You don’t just want them as your realtor, you want them as your friends, and I think that says a lot. We had worked with other realtors prior to them and the Aufhammer team blows everyone else out of the water. They’re the ones you want on your side in a tough market. To begin with, I personally have never been one to write reviews, but after having had such an incredibly successful and positive experience with something as complex as buying a house, I feel I would be remiss not to share about our realtors that made this experience everything that it was. First off, being first time home buyers, we stepped into the process fairly uninformed and unfamiliar with what was ahead, but Will and Kelly not only did a phenomenal job at representing us and working through the jargon on our behalf, but they also made the process extremely educational. They really cared that we fully understood every detail of every step of the process. The level at which they kept us informed was the main factor that helped us to maintain a sense of confidence with every step, never feeling unsure or in the dark. their overall communication was top notch, always timely and extremely informative. We had the privilege of working with Kelly and Will throughout our house search and house selling process. 2020 made for no easy task - my wife and I were selling two condos during COVID, and at the same time trying to participate in a hyper-competitive market for buying single family homes. Will and Kelly have been close friends of ours since college, and we always knew that when the time came to find a home we wouldn't think twice about having them as our realtors. Buying a house has its fair share of challenges, and at every possible stage they ensured our questions were answered (and we had a lot of them!). When we were in the "house search" phase, Willy and Kelly were diligent about understanding what we were looking for, and consistent about sending through suggestions as we narrowed it down more and more.
Once we did find our house, they were incredibly quick to act in setting up a tour, and we firmly believe seeing it early allowed us to act swiftly and strategically. After seeing this house things moved rapidly, and we never felt rushed or pressured. As we were deciding whether to present an offer or not, we found out about another offer on the house, but we had not had they chance to have a sewer scope done. Will and Kelly wasted no time in getting one scheduled, but it ultimately fell through. They did not question our decision in not wanting to take a risk, and we were fully prepared to not be able to present an offer. Before we knew it, they worked their magic and found a way to get another one done, giving us the confidence to eventually send an offer through. All the while, they made themselves available to answer all of our questions and concerns - we felt informed and supported. Getting the call that we had gotten the house was a moment we will never forget!
In the time before closing on the house, Will and Kelly checked in often, and connected us with an incredible mortgage lender who took great care of us. We now sit here in our dream house, still in a bit of disbelief but full of immense gratitude. Will and Kel put a human touch on what can be a very complex process, and we wouldn't hesitate to refer them to any friend (or stranger!) embarking on their house hunt.

Townhome on Market
My wife and I have owned a few properties in the Seattle area and in several of those transactions we used a flat-fee real estate attorney and were able to save a bit of money. We were leaning toward that option again, recently, when it came time to sell a rental property. However, my wife and I both work outside the home and we have two small kids. Spare time isn't something we have a lot of. Kelly was willing to grab the keys, plan, organize, and execute all of the tasks that go along with preparing a house for sale (home inspection, sewer inspection, painters, landscapers, appliance repairs, stagers, etc) and then kept us constantly updated on offers. We had six offers (all above asking price) within the first 36 hours and the entire transaction closed two weeks after listing. Kelly was a true professional throughout the process. She reached out with options (and suggestions) when decisions needed to be made, and then ran with our choices. Her calm demeanor, engaging personality, and willingness to take over every aspect of this time-intensive project was such a relief.
